ADS-B receiver
Payloads / idea 8 of 12
Traffic awareness
- What it earns
- Traffic awareness for the ground station.
- Mass
- 10 to 20 g (estimate)
- Does it drop
- No: it stays aboard on its cover.
- Notes
- A safety payload as much as a sensor. It feeds ArduPilot's ADS-B avoidance.
From the docs/payloads.md (brainstorm, Ryan and th-testpilot, 2026-10-05). Nothing here is decided. Have a better version of this idea, or a different one? Propose a payload.
